Hi I’m Janice, a recent graduate in Communication and Multimedia Design from the University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam.
With a strong passion for visual storytelling and a sharp eye for design, I love turning creative ideas into engaging, user-centered experiences. During my studies, I discovered my interest in User Experience Design, which quickly grew into a full-fledged passion. I now see myself as a UX designer with a deep appreciation for visual and graphic design.
Beyond work, I enjoy personal growth through fitness, baking, gaming with friends, and exploring new cities and cultures.

My four years studying Communication and Multimedia Design at the HvA provided me with a strong foundation in UX and visual design. The program challenged me creatively and strategically, while my internships at TP Vision and VR Owl significantly contributed to my professional growth.
2023
User Experience Design
Minor

As part of my studies, I pursued a minor in User Experience Design, with a strong focus on usability design. This program deepened my understanding of creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences, and strengthened my skills in usability testing, interaction design, and user research.
2022
Future of Esports
Hogeschool van Amsterdam
I pursued a minor on the Future of Esports, where I explored the current esports scene and identified design opportunities within the industry. I took the lead in developing the visual identity for an esports event, creating the website, designing the mascot, and managing all aspects of social media marketing. This experience broadened my perspective on digital culture and showed me how design can drive engagement and innovation in esports.
